Music with Strings Attached

Strings Attached was naturally formed out of a group of friends that love music. Featuring cello, voice, and piano they play music for many kinds of events and occasions. They are often joined by other musicians from their community.

Carol Ann Loeb

An Arizona native, Carol Ann performed with the Arizona Opera, the Phoenix Metropolitan Opera, and the Flagstaff Symphony Orchestra. In 2010 she moved to Colorado to pursue a Master’s Degree in Cello Performance. She was Co-Principal of the University of Northern Colorado’s Symphony Orchestra, a soloist with the university’s Concert Choir, and was the winner of the 2012 Southard Competition-Chamber Music Division.

Carol Ann currently records as a studio musician for collaborative projects. She has recently recorded for short films, commercials, and has been featured as a solo guest cellist. She has also performed with the Stockton Symphony.

Chase Loeb

Originally from the Colorado Rockies, Chase had been exploring music from an early age.  He graduated from the University of Northern Colorado, majoring in solo performance. He continues a performance career as a solo and collaborative pianist.

After moving to Lodi, Chase has been a collaborative pianist at the University of the Pacific and the San Joaquin Delta College School of Music. He currently instructs piano and digital music composition at Sayla Music Academy.

 
 

Samantha Harrison

Samantha Harrison is a graduate of Boston University where she studied voice with Aaron Sheehan and received her Master's in Historical Performance. She holds a Bachelor's of Music from CSU Stanislaus where she studied voice with Dr. Joseph Wiggett and is currently a private voice and piano instructor at Sayla Music Academy.

Samantha Harrison enjoys collaborating with musicians. At Boston University, Ms. Harrison performed in several Early Music Chamber groups and the Graduate Vocal Ensemble under the direction of Scott Allen Jarrett. Since graduating, Ms. Harrison collaboratively performs recitals throughout California.

Danielle Smith

Danielle's musical journey started at an early age with piano, and later continued with bass and singing. She graduated from Delta College in Vocal Performance where she studied under Kate Bautch and Bruce Southard. She has performed in a number of ensembles and venues, including Carnegie Hall in 2016 and 2019. 

She currently teaches private piano and voice lessons for all ages, and spends her remaining time working with other musicians in jazz, pop and folk ensembles. Ms. Smith also performs with the Sayla Community Orchestra.

Andrew Cardwell

Andrew Cardwell is a percussionist, whose first major performance came with Shania Twain at Arco Arena in Sacramento as a high school senior. In the University of the Pacific Symphony Orchestra, he performed Beethoven’s famous 1808 concert in its entirety; in the same year, he joined the New Hammer Concert Band under the direction of Eric Hammer. Andrew regularly performs with Stockton Concert Band, Lodi Concert Band, and Valley Concert Band, in addition to his duo, the Wild Cards.
